Apple Glazed Ham

APPLE GLAZED HAM

INGREDIENTS

1 Petit Jean Spiral Sliced Ham, 10 pds
2 cups apple juice
½ cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon granulated garlic
½ teaspoon ground ginger
½ teaspoon chili powder
½ teaspoon ground cinnamon

 

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees.

  2. Place Petit Jean Spiral Sliced Ham in a baking dish. Set aside.

  3.  Place apple juice, brown sugar, salt, garlic, ginger, chili powder and ground cinnamon in a saucepan.

     

  4.  Cook over medium-high heat until it just starts to bubble, stirring occasionally. Baste ham with glaze, making sure to get it between the slices.

     

  5. Bake for 10 minutes per pound, basting with the juices from the pan every 20 minutes.

  6. Serve warm or room temperature.
