Do you need more oven space during the holidays? We have a solution. And it happens to be one of the easiest ways to heat one of our Petit Jean Spiral Sliced Hams and is sure to be one of the juiciest hams you have ever tasted.
HOW TO HEAT YOUR PETIT JEAN SPIRAL SLICED HAM IN THE DISHWASHER
Our hams are fully cooked and therefore only require heating.
- Place your Petit Jean Half Spiral Sliced Ham (in the bag) face down on the bottom rack of your dishwasher.
- Be sure not to puncture the packaging as it is essential to holding in the juices (and not making a mess in your dishwasher).
- Set your dishwasher to the “Heavy Wash” or “Pots and Pans” setting. Press Start.
- Once the complete cycle is done, you should have a little wear on the label and a very clean ham package.
- Remove packaging and your ham is ready to slice and eat.
Our spiral sliced hams make it simple to slice and prepare for any holiday or event.
*Standard residential water heaters come pre-set at 120 deg F. We do not recommend heating your ham in a dishwasher if you have modified your factory settings on your water heater. We do not recommend cooking other items in the dishwasher. We know the packaging on our hams can withstand the heat of a factory set residential water heater and the pressure from the dishwasher water. Therefore we only recommend that you heat a
Petit Jean Spiral Sliced Ham as stated above.
